This much fun and I never have to move again?

Recently, several villa and apartment residents decided to take in a matinee show of “Amelia,” the new Amelia Earhart movie, and dinner in Levis Commons.

Dean Ruemmele said that “Amelia” was very good despite what he thought were some unnecessary racy bits.

“They should’ve just stuck with the history,” he noted, “but it was still a fun day out.”

Next week, assisted living members are looking forward to Chet’s Movie Night, several opportunities for worship, catching up on current events, visiting, the seasonal selections in Chef Reggie’s delicious menu and getting dolled up for the Christmas card photo shoot.

Besides all the fun things Otterbein Portage Valley members have been enjoying, what else makes us so special? As a non-profit, accredited, faith-based, financially sound senior living ministry since 1912, it’s the mission, the stability and the team.

We offer nursing and rehab as well as assisted living, independent apartments and villas and “try us” respite stays.  But the beautiful part is that if you qualify today, you have our promise that no matter what tomorrow’s market brings, we’re here for you.  Should you no longer have the funds to pay, unlike most area residences, you will never be asked to leave or be forced into a nursing home prematurely!
