Roy House remembered by friends at Otterbein St. Marys

Residents gathered on Jan. 18 to share a laugh and to honor a dear friend. An all-around great man and true jokester, Roy House made people “snicker” quite often. For five years now, residents have enjoyed what has been named “The Snicker Bar,” to share a joke or tell a story in honor of the late Roy House. This year, guests also enjoyed a performance from the Otterbein St. Marys drama club, Curtain Calls. Roy’s wife, Nellie House, resides at Otterbein St. Marys and said it feels so good to know he is remembered in such a wonderful way. She also said that the event seems to get better every year and that this year was the best yet.
