Otterbein St. Marys’ 26th Annual Fish Fry will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 20.
Come enjoy a delicious fish dinner, or hamburgers for those who would rather, and ice cream and beverage. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children 10 and under. Remember to save room for the complimentary cotton candy and snow cones. This delicious feast will be served by the Wapakoneta Lions Club.
Tuesday, Jan. 17- Brunch and Learn - Come and enjoy a complimentary brunch as you make a plan for life and receive a complimentary “It’s Your Move” booklet. Gather in the community room at 10:30 a.m.
Ever dream about dancing in the moonlight? Take a trip down memory lane in a recreation of Moonlite Gardens’ ambiance and mood at Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community, featuring twinkling lights, fabulous music by the Pete Wagner Band and dancing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, in the multi-purpose room in the campus center. Otterbein residents are free and guests are $5 each at the door. No reservations are required, but organizers ask party-goers to sign the guest book.
Join Otterbein Portage Valley for their first educational seminar of the new year. Phil Wylkan, certified elder attorney, will speak on veterans' aid and attendance benefits and other elder law concerns at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Our next speaker, long time realtor and entrepreneur, Darcey McKinely of Key Realty will help us host the second Lunch & Learn at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 24. She will be sharing her insights on the real estate market in her presentation, “Right Realtor, Right Price, Right Frame of Mind.”
Otterbein Lebanon is celebrating 40 years of birthday parties with the Christ United Methodist Church. They have been coming each month to Otterbein for the past 40 years providing residents a birthday party for their birthday month. Each month, they bring cakes, ice cream, punch and provide entertainment on the third Thursday at 7:15 p.m. in the Phillippi Room. At 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, there will be a thank you celebration for their 40 years of parties in the multi-purpose room in campus center. Three different choir groups are scheduled to come.

Otterbein North Shore is looking forward to a sensational 2012. New resident services, entertainment and education opportunities are just the beginning.
For instance, Chef Ryan is cooking up an ever changing resident-designed menu. His Hearth Restaurant is ready for entertaining residents and their family and friends all year long. From gourmet dining to homemade soups and sandwiches, residents love eating what they’ve chosen.
Tickets are on sale to the public for the 18th annual Renaissance Feaste to be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 5 and 6, 2012, at the Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community, 585 N. SR 741, Lebanon. These evenings feature a complete “Boar’s Head” dinner and entertainment hosted by court officials to celebrate the season of Epiphany. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
