RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides direct physical therapy treatments according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.
LEBANON, Ohio – March 5, 2010 – A resident survey released March 4 by the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) gives high kudos to two of Otterbein Homes’ skilled nursing care and rehabilitation locations. Avalon by Otterbein at Atrium and the Jane Baker House at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community each placed in the top 25 of Ohio nursing homes in the ODA’s 2009 Long-term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey.
Otterbein Board Votes To Move Forward With
New Life Enrichment Center & Deconstruction of Bethany Hall
LEBANON, OH – February 17, 2010 – The Otterbein Homes board of trustees has voted to move forward with development of a life enrichment center to be centrally located on its Lebanon, Ohio, campus; and with deconstruction plans for the 166-year-old Bethany Hall in order to proceed with the development plan, Otterbein Homes President and CEO Jill C. Hreben announced today.
MIDDLETOWN - Jan. 22, 2010 - Otterbein Homes received a community service award for building a new $500,000 facility near the Atrium Medical Center campus and adding 85 new employees.
LEBANON – Dec. 14, 2009 – Otterbein Homes has acquired Pioneer Home Health Care, a Medicare-certified home health agency currently with operations in Wilmington and the surrounding area. Pioneer provides a new range of services for Otterbein, complementing the already strong independent senior services, outpatient capabilities and clinical facilities. LEBANON – Nov. 23, 2009 – The Warren County Arts and Cultural Center (WCACC) Board of Trustees chose the location for its regional performing arts center on the Otterbein Lebanon Retirement Community’s property at a meeting on Friday, Nov. 20.
