Otterbein Portage Valley in Pemberville is excited to present another season of the Music in the Air concert series. Different musical styles will be featured the second Tuesday of each month through September.

Several original board members including Red Barron, Lois Henline, Wilbur Hesselbart and Marilyn and Dr. Thomas Bowlus took great joy in helping with the first shovelfuls during the April 20 groundbreaking ceremony at Otterbein Portage Valley. The new life enrichment center will further their founding mission from more than 25 years ago of serving seniors in the area.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18: Catch us at the Spring Fling Senior Expo at the Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter, 7060 Sylvania Ave, Sylvania. We’ll have information and goodies to share. 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11: Otterbein Portage Valley kicks off the Music in the Air concert series with Deepwater Bluegrass of Glass City Opry fame. Box lunch is available, $3 donation suggested. Music in the Air is held the second Tuesday of each month through September and will feature different artists and musical genres every month! Next month, join Bette’s Polka Band on June 8.
