As Continuing Care Retirement Communities, an array of services for changing needs is provided through Health Care Services, including assisted living and nursing. Otterbein is also leading the nation in changing the face of nursing care by taking the bold step of moving elders to homes in the community at large. Avalon by Otterbein neighborhoods of beautiful, residential style small houses will become home to elders in need of long term nursing care. The first neighborhoods are scheduled to open in Fall of 2007.
