Assisted Living means that you will receive help with some of life’s daily activities so you can continue in comfort as independently as possible. We understand that every person is an individual with unique needs. That is why Otterbein uses a holistic approach with a team of health care professionals to offer a variety of services. These health care professionals will work with you to customize a plan to provide as much or as little assistance required for your well-being. Five levels of assistance provide an array of services.

Rehabilitation services provide the needed assistance after a hospital stay or surgery. Otterbein’s on site therapy programs provide the speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and restorative programs to assist you in returning to your home.

Nursing care is certified for both Medicare and Medicaid and offers both short term and long-term stays. Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and State Tested Nursing Assistants make up the nursing care team at Otterbein communities. An interdisciplinary team works with the nursing staff to coordinate specialized care as prescribed by your physician.
