Part of the rehabilitative process is staying active in ways the elders can enjoy.

At Otterbein's small house neighborhood, one such activity was a joy to experience again. Pearl Bahnsen has a special place in her heart for fishing, but just has not had the opportunity much to cast her lure in past years.

So when Quality of Life Coordinator Chris Wayton asked some of the elders if there was something they wanted to do and they said fishing, she took them fishing.

Pearl happened to catch the first fish, and boy, was it a big one. It's the typical fish story, with the fish getting bigger with every retelling!
