As Immediate Past Chairman and President of Clark Schaefer Hackett, Tom assisted with the overall management of the Firm's related entities focusing on client service expertise in advising family owned businesses and individuals with wealth management. Tom was with the Firm for 30 years and served in many roles, including chairman, president, executive vice president, treasurer and shareholder in charge of the Middletown and Dayton offices. Tom enjoyed the opportunity to be in various leadership roles within Clark Schaefer Hackett during periods of significant growth.
Having served privately owned businesses and individuals for over 40 years, Tom retired in July 2012 to pursue a new passion of teaching college business students. Tom entered the teaching profession at Wright State University as a "visiting instructor" in August 1, 2012, instructing business majors in the introductory Financial Accounting course.
Tom holds a BS with emphasis in accounting from The Ohio State University.
